spatial reference definitions website in the world :)

It has not only #EPSG systems, but also #ESRI, #IAU 2015, #IGNF, #NKG and #OGC authorities.

As open source, you can even run it in your machine.

Enjoy it!

Thanks @EvenRouault

It is not only filtering by a point or rectangle in the map. You can also filter by type, authority or by name (open the info <i> to see the options).

Click the Area of Use of any CRS to show it in the map.
Or sort the columns clicking the header.

Tip: to show "all" the reference systems from every authority in #PROJ (more than 13,000) use this link spatialreference.org/explorer.

spatialreference.orgSRS Explorer -- Spatial Reference

Since I use Coordinate Reference Systems on a daily basis I have to search them for different reasons (usually because a customer is using the wrong one). I decided to develop a webpage to search them quickly, and get useful information. A few months later we moved it into the PROJ.org domain.
You have it at crs-explorer.proj.org/
Now there is not a single day I do not use it. It was worth it the investment.
