At least half the residents of #Harlow in #Essex voted #Conservative during better economic times, a good portion voted #UKIP when they were popular, and the #Tories still have a stronghold in the wards closest to #London - these voting patterns have consequences (such as a Council not having resources to immediately redevelop areas/buildings where the "free market" has failed)

These brave warriors are risking their lives to take back their country and show the world the "British values".

What is amazing, is that the police seems to be so much nicer to them than they were to Climate Change, BLM and anti genocide protesters.

By contrast, the number of council candidates also indicates that #ReformUK, for all their success in opinion polls lately, still don't have much in the way of organisation at a local level, unlike their #UKIP forerunners.

That being said, 323 candidates is a big step forward for them, and indicates that they are at least starting to try to establish themselves at a grassroots level.
