NPO Radio 1Superveilige mega-ammoniakopslag, maar wat als het toch mis gaat?Kunstmestproducent OCI wil een opslag maken voor 60.000 ton ammoniak in de Europoort. Dit is vele malen groter dan welke ammoniaktank in Nederland tot nu toe. Omwonenden en gemeente Voorne aan Zee maken zich zorgen over de eventuele gevolgen als er wat fout zou gaan. De Provincie en de omgevingsdienst DCMR zeggen dat er geen milieu-effect-rapportage komt, omdat dat niet nodig is volgens de wet voor opslag van chemicaliën onder de 100.000 ton. Maar een opslag van deze grootte is voor Nederland ongekend. Moet er niet toch extra onderzoek komen?
