Someone really does not want you to know what the #VP said about Drumpf attacking #Yemen?

I didn't dig that far into the author of this posts's account (I also admit to being openly supicious of ALL mas.to accounts)... but sometimes people are wrongly caught in a #censorship algo?

I encourage all admins @jerry to be extra vigilant in their filters.

Someone who thinks Israel is a "country" instead of a plot device

(like the kind in fiction) created by someone with a #Gutenberg printing press does not care about #infosec, #opSec, or the #SEC.

Side note: This is also why native people don't trust books printed in English, and why I do not believe any version of any English language translated #bible fwiw.

Vance's wife is the same color as folks in Yemen. I think he'd do a hell of a better job as prez than Drumpf if you want my opinion.

"JD Vance cautioned against bombing Yemen before the US restarted its airstrikes on the country, calling it a “mistake,”...according to a leaked Signal conversation between administration officials"
"Vance pointed out that only a small percentage of US shipping goes through the Suez Canal compared to European trade"
If you read the chat, it's like kids talking shit over a video game. Unbelievable that they're in power.

David d'Angers, statue of #Gutenberg in Strasbourg, celebrating the inventor on the 400th anniversary of his epochal experiments

1) described in the Magasin Pittoresque
2, 3) represented on a bronze medal by Joachim-Frédéric II Kirstein (1805-60)

The old among the new.

This is one of 4 allegorical figures at the base of the Johannes Gutenberg Memorial at Frankfurt's Roßmarkt. They represent the main reasons for the invention of the printing press: theology (which is the statue in the photo), poetry, natural sciences, and industry. And I think they contrast so well with he shiny facades of the modern office buildings in the background.

This upcoming weekend, I may schedule moving my books off of Amazon entirely.

I will look into what I have to change to put them on #Gutenberg and @internetarchive.

No one knows they exist, and I want people to be able to read them.

No point in having them locked in the bottom of the Amazon vault, where even a direct link doesn't always help people find them.

Search by book or author name doesn't bring up anything by me. And hasn't for the entire decade I have had books on Amazon.

📚🖋️ #JohannesGutenberg is commonly perceived as the inventor of #printing, yet, #Asia pioneered printing centuries earlier. From the #DiamondSutra of 868 CE from #China to #Korea's metal movable type predating #Gutenberg's Bible by 80 years, Asia's innovations laid the groundwork for global information exchange. Inspired by a visit to the #GutenbergMuseum in #Mainz, I explored the fascinating history of printing in this article:
