Selected influences (part 3)
From the late 1990s for this week's #ThrowbackThursday this is the chairlift ride near The Needles and Alum Bay on the Isle of Wight. I and my then-girlfriend (now wife) had taken the hovercraft across to the island to meet up with her parents who were spending a week there on holiday. A few of the typical tourist activities then took place including this somewhat rickety ride over the cliff.
The Wupper near Solingen-Burg. If you look closely, you might spot two people floating above the water: a cable car connects Unterburg with Oberburg, where Burg Castle is located, crossing the river.

It's the first day of #ski vacation and I've already
1) fallen while skiing
2) got hit by a chair of the chairlift
3) fallen under the said chair (which literally scratched my helmet)
The question is.
Why do I keep doing it to myself?!
