I am aware that @prenagha has a similar action that has done the job for a long time. It does depend on switchaudio-osx though, which does not support AirPlay devices. So I decided to try a new approach.

P-Toolbox · Swift, CoreAudio, AirPlay and a New LaunchBar ActionSo, I am not really a developer. Meaning, I stumbled into it as a tinkerer. I started with Automator workflows and some AppleScript. Later I went through a JavaScript course to learn how to make use of LaunchBar’s JavaScript implementation. This has been a game changer for me. It is now my favorite way to write LaunchBar actions (especially since I set up snippets in VS Code to make it easier to use the LaunchBar-specific functionality).
