'Eis von nahem' / 'Ice close up'

A water surface photographed from above, covered with a few millimeters of ice: A perfectly round opening in the ice was created by cooling a bottle of fresh warm milk overnight, then pulling it out which also pulled some air under the ice surface. This created a triangular darker shape that intersects with the circle.

Eine von oben fotografierte Wasseroberfläche, die mit einigen Millimetern Eis bedeckt ist: Eine perfekt runde Öffnung im Eis entstand, indem eine Flasche mit frischer, warmer Milch über Nacht gekühlt und dann herausgezogen wurde, wodurch auch etwas Luft unter die Eisoberfläche gezogen wurde. So entstand eine dreieckige, dunklere Form, die sich mit dem Kreis schneidet.

On the trans-Kalimantan motorway near Palangkaraya in southern Bornoe, four drivers take a break by the roadside.
