I made another batch of big cookies. These weigh 90 grams each. I found the only way to keep them fresh for a week is to wrap them tightly in plastic wrap, which I don't love... I'm wondering if I can use that beeswax food wrap instead.

I do reuse the plastic wrap when I can though. (Also, who am I kidding? These do not last a full week as the batch is usually less than 14 cookies.)

Just ordered from the Adidas website & was immediately struck by the honesty of the sadly inevitable cookie permissions popup options admitting that it's "tracking". Also that when you, again inevitably, have to click through to refuse anything other than "essential" cookies, that's the default (admittedly that's more often the case, but still) & the button reads "Save selections" which is much less confusing that many others I've seen.
If only we didn't need this crap.

Not a better Monday than others (how could it be?!)
But came home to kid2's further #cookie experiments or rather skills practice now, so yes in fact a better Monday than others!

[These have cut pieces from a chocolate bar rather than store bought chips; yes makes a huge diff]

I periodically rant (sorry long-time followers) about how someone visiting Europe means for me a chance to get some PickUps back with them!

They've made me a bit of a connoisseur of this style of cookie as I've been unable to find anything remotely close after searching for _many_ years. They're unavailable in North America.

How are they unique? It's a perfect balance between crisp butter-cookie wafers and thick, tempered chocolate slab between them.
