Today I learned that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson together with movie producer (and ex-wife) Dany Garcia owned the #XFL 
after buying it off his old #WWE 
boss Vince McMahon.
And they merged recently with a league called #USFL , which was owned by FOX Corporation and now it’s been rebranded to form a new league called #UFL (United Football League).
Anyway, between them all, they didn’t manage to rustle up a good website before announcing the thing.

I'm rooting for Birmingham because they have a QB named McGoo (actually spelled McGough).
This #USFL game just got very interesting!
Watching #USFL on USA. The Memphis Showboats are schooling the Houston Gamblers.
And the #USFL Birmingham's QB is named McGough (pronounced McGoo). The announcers, including Butt, were just riffing on McGough's name. Brave move Butt, brave move.
One of the announcers for this #USFL game is named Jake Butt. We can't stop laughing.
We're watching #USFL on Fox. It's the Birmingham Stallions v. the New Orleans Breakers! Both teams are 4-2.
I'm at work for a bit today, and can't stream the #USFL game on right now because Fox, who's broadcasting it, doesn't play well with my cable company. So, I have to turn to YouTube for someone calling the game. The first one I found is a kid, seriously not over 14 years old, calling the game. He's doing a great job!

Speaking of Oakland Invaders, here is a game used football from the 1985 Invaders I acquired from an owner.
It’s definitely worth the USFL thinking about reviving the Oakland Invaders for next season.
This is so cringeworthy... I don't understand USFL football at all.
Is the quality of play so poor that the refs just let absolutely anything go between corners & receivers? Do they ever call holding at the line... EVER? Are linebackers accountable for anything in the rulebook at all or is it just a big ol' free for all?
I can't take this any more. I'm officially Team XFL.
