Skipped #totp in favour of stuff like this at the Sheffield Sessions Festival. I call that a win.

I remember why I don't do #totp more often. I am now listening to Nilsson and Without You to drive out some of the worst of those.

A song and performance better than 95% of what I have watched.

And that has sent me down a youtube dive, as usual of deep, emotional, sad songs. That are intense and authentic (Nightswimming, Find the River, David Grey, Inspiral Carpets).

There is so much amazing music.

#totp I can see why people like me didn't rate ABBA at the time - they did well in the commercial markets. The vast majority of that was utter crap. And so being able to fit with that was a negative (same today, in fairness).

But with some time, it becomes possible to see that some of the music - not a lot - was good.
