There have been 3 crashes involving Serious Bodily Injury across Indy this evening.
The first involved a motorcyclist struck by the driver of an SUV, the second being a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcyclist, and the third involving multiple vehicles.
"10 kids were struck by vehicles in 30 days. Safety concerns arise ahead of summer" via Indy Star (Jade Jackson)
"Within a month, 10 kids were struck by vehicles while walking or riding their bikes and one organization wants to bring awareness to drivers ahead of summer when more children will be outside."
Reminder: Not a single elected official in Indianapolis spoke out after 10 kids were struck by drivers in a 30-day span.
Zero. None. Not a *single* one spoke up.
Not even 'Thoughts and Prayers' for the victims.
Not even a 'Drivers, pay attention — kids are out' PSA.
Nothing.
Nothing.
