Stanage Edge is a ridge of gritstone outcrop in the #Derbyshire #PeakDistrict beloved of climbers, stretching for about 4 miles altogether. I'm planning some #EnPleinAir #PaintingWithYarn and following the theme I thought a Derbyshire quarry might be a good subject. This is a #Millersdale Quarry (now a nature reserve) just off the #MonsalTrail I had a nosy around today as the morning light was good - some great shadows. A bit chilly to sit around today, but an option when the weather warms. NB #PhonePhotos so not brilliant!
