Allerdings hänge ich sehr an „Ivory“ (ehemals Tweetbot), es gab nie etwas vergleichbares gutes (aus meiner Sicht).
Was ist denn ein guter „Ivory“ Ersatz für Android? Ist schwer aber vielleicht nicht unmöglich :)
Absolutely love @trunksapp! It's got a gorgeous UI, great quality of life features like clear threading and the ability to choose how you engage with threads. And lots of other small but nice to have features.
Seit gestern habe ich Probleme mit Tusky und Mastodon App. Keine zeigt mehr aktuelle Tröts an. Mich bei Beiden abgemeldet und aktualisiert, Verbindung zum Server kann nicht hergestellt werden.

New app update! v1.28 now adds all mentions in parent post (not only the post author) to the compose view in the create screen (i.e. reply all by default).
It also makes it easier to delete mentions while writing (see attached video).

Is there at least one other #fediapp App on #iOS that actually works than the #mastodonapp ? I got no timeline update since hours on #IceCubesApp and #ivoryapp . had problems with #metatext and the two others with notifications as well #fedihelp

A question for you #MastodonApp afficionados. How does one approve/decline follow requests in the official app? It is easy on the website, but I will be darned if I can figure out how to do it in the app.

1. Januar. Dieses Jahr bereits zwei sehr lange und wichtige und Ernste Toots als Entwurf verloren, einer wegen Absturz Mastodon App, der andere weil Abschaltung wegen leerem Akku.
Es wäre schön, wenn die @Mastodon app #mastodonapp Entwürfe speichern würde.
Was aber die Abstürze betrifft: die Entwickler haben da wirklich schlimmen Schrott programmiert. Eine try{} catch () Klausel würde schon reichen, oder synchronized, oder eine Prüfung der Array size.
Wenn der Editor ein custom-emoji oder usernamen per vervollständigungsvorschlag anbieten, ändern sich die Array sizes dynamisch, es kommt durch einen Index-Zugriff ins Nichts zu einer NPE und sofortigem hartem crash der App - nix graceful. Und das seit Monaten, über mehrere Updates der App. @Gargron

I'd like to unblock #bluesky using the #MastodonApp but my Google-Fu is failing me. Do I need to logon via a browser, or am I missing something somewhere?

FalconMarkSix@tech.lgbt - I didn't realise that the official #MastodonApp finally supports Markdown to format text.
Makes me wonder if they are finally going to add Markdown functionality in a future release for vanilla Mastodon servers.
@pkreissel made an algorithm for mastodon to free us from the tyranny of reverse chronological order and it's totally awesome.
IMHO a customizable algorithm is the only thing mastodon needs to really take things to the next level.

Great news (and a sad one too)
I run the Mastodon app on my Win10 laptop also and there I can see all the peeps I follow ~180 or so. So there is nothing wrong at aus.social. Thank you for your support folks, I appreciate the fact that you chipped in.
Unfortunately, the Mastodon app on iPad is stil restricing me to see only about ~40 or so followings. So it's either the app or the dreaded IOS that has issues. (hope this helps with Masto App Devs). Sad because I can lug the iPad around with me but not so much the Notepad.
I've tried other iPad compatible apps (free ones without In-App-Purchase, call me selective :) but none gave me the functionality, look and feel that Masto app does (except for the FULL list of my followings :)

Wie kann ich das umgehen bzw. trotzdem sehen? Ich habe einen Account, der 2022 zuletzt gepostet hat. Die Beiträge von dort möchte ich lesen können. In der #mastodonapp sind sie einfach leer, als ob das Profil nie aktiv war. Wenn ich es am Computer versuche, erhalte ich die Meldung: "Ältere Beiträge von anderen Servern werden nicht angezeigt." Kann ich das als Endanwender nicht übersteuern? Das wäre bedauerlich. #Mastodon
