Yesterday, someone "reported" that #DonTheCon "might" announce a delay in his #tariffs, and the Market shot up 1,000 points.
When the WH denied it, it crashed again, but not before a lot of people recouped millions in losses. 🤔
It appears something similar took place again today. And of course, there will be no investigation. #DOW
Trump: "I know, I'll institute a horrifying policy that will almost certainly destroy the world economy, and then, days later, tell my followers to buy the dip on my proprietary social media platform. Just after they do that, I'll announce a small reprieve in the nightmare policy I created in the first place, so my cabinet and followers and I all make out like bandits in one big score before the world ends."
At 9:37am, Trump posted this on the social media platform he profits from: "THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY!!! DJT." At that moment, the Dow was about even for the day.
Who do you think bought *before* he sent that message?
At 1:18pm, on the same platform, he announced a 90-day tariff "pause" for most countries. The down climbs over 2,000 points within hours.

Illinois Senator #DickDurbin, the No. 2 #Democrat in the #Senate, warned that the negative impacts of #tariffs would persist far beyond a 90-day period.
"The chaos, uncertainty, & real damage of the #Trump Tariff Tax will not disappear in 90 days. Bottom line: the President has created a global mess at the expense of American families & businesses,” Durbin said in a statement.

Inexplicably, #Trump seems to have added another 10% tariff to #Canada & #Mexico. Asked earlier if the 10% tariff extends to those countries, Scott Bessent, the treasury secretary, said that it did. And a White House official clarified that that is the case. Previously Canada & Mexico had been exempted from this round of “reciprocal” #tariffs, though they still face a 25% tariff on many of their goods that the president imposed last month.

This is real life,” Horsford yelled as he pressed Greer about whether or not the move amounted to #MarketManipulation by the admin.

So, he made the market lose trillions in a couple days
Then he'll cut some deal that makes the market recover half of what was lost, quickly.
Then he'll be bragging that he gained more in such a short time "like nobody's ever seen before".
#MarketManipulation should be illegal, even at the POTUS level.
Just watch - GOP Senators/Reps will have made a KILLING buying low.
