Das Album „... A Lot of Dominos!“ von #FatsDomino erschien 1960 bei Imperial Records und vereint Rhythm & Blues mit eingängigen Melodien. Es enthält die Hits #WalkingToNewOrleans und „My Girl Josephine“, wobei ersterer die US-Top-10 erreichte. Inspiriert durch Bobby Charles entstand „Walking to New Orleans“ mit erstmals eingesetzten Streichern, die den Song prägen. Es war eine der letzten Veröffentlichungen mit Produzent Dave Bartholomew.

The songs put together here make up an enjoyable collection with the odd tinges of sadness. The charisma of Fats Domino bleeds through the recordings. Whether it’s a classic like Blueberry Hill, something more contemplative like So Long or joyous like La La, Domino’s character is what makes me love the songs more than anything. A real classic
