Dear Mac & iPad-Users,
I have a 2020 #MacBook Pro 13“ & an 2018 #iPad Pro 11“ Wi-Fi + Cellular.
Considering to replace both devices by either a M-CPU-based MacBook (Pro or Air) or a fresh iPad Pro.
Since new Macs run iPad apps as well, I am thinking about to choose the Mac, while I would miss the higher mobility & touchscreen of the iPad for sure…
On the other hand I realize, that I use my current iPad much more frequent than the Mac.
Do you see any use cases which would require #MacOS?
@bodomenke There will be use cases that hinge on Mac-only software (Xcode development comes to mind, Windows emulation, &c.) but no one can make you a comprehensive list; only *you* know your usage.
@bodomenke Also, since you have an IT background you will lose your god-like ability to ‘tinker’ in iРadOS, all other considerations aside.
(Some will miss that, some will say ‘good riddance!’) 
@vaughnsc Oh, the time that I wanted to tinker with an OS is approx. 15 years ago. 
I simply want to use it.
Business wise I have fortunately a good team who does the tinkering if required…
