This Is My GlasgowLone Survivor: It always seems rather sad to come across an orphaned tenement which has been left standing when all its neighbours have been demolished. Until a cleaning programme was initiated in the 1970s, most of Glasgow's traditional sandstone buildings were black from many decades of accumulated soot and grime.
