But first, I want to thank the person who blocked me for introducing me to the term "pornado"—I will cherish it.So, there's a kind of reply-person on Fedi who seems to like to *vocally* use moderation tools. It's not enough to block or report someone, they have to loudly announce it, to rub it in. Hank G ☑️I highly advise people to not travel to the United States for the time being. A French scientist was denied entry to the US and expelled because his phone had messages decrying scientific policies put forth by the Trump Administration. More disturbingly these messages were being equated with terrorism because it was "hateful towards the Trump Administration". This person at least didn't have to deal with weeks wasn't disappeared and suffer through torture like other tourists have been at the hands of ICE for absolutely no reason whatsoever. When I was a kid my school was trying to arrange a trip to the USSR. They would talk about all the precautions to take to not get in trouble with authorities and then god knows what would happen. I hated the idea of setting foot in a country like that. Now we are living in it. Thanks MAGA supporters and Trump voters! MontagUnter anderem habe ich Probleme mit dem Default Encryption Module, bei jedem einloggen gibt es diese Meldung:<pre><code>Verschlüsselungs-App ist aktiviert, aber die Schlüssel sind nicht initialisiert. Bitte ab- und wieder anmelden</code></pre>Ich habe mich jetzt bestimmt 20-30 mal ab- und wieder angemeldet und es ändert sich nichts und ich kann z.B. nicht mehr auf meine Notizen zugreifen. Ich bin kurz davor dieses scheiß fehlerhafte Software Konstrukt runter zu schmeißen und mir eine andere Lösung zu suchen. Auch das sogenannte Support Forum finde ich nicht sehr hilfreich.Ja, es ist OpenSource und ich nutze die Software kostenlos, habe aber auch schon mal gespendet. Ich kann aber jeden verstehen, der im professionellen Bereich auf diesen Mist verzichten kann und dann doch auf eine propritäre Microsoft oder sonstwie Lösung umschwenkt. Filetransfer, Synchronisierung und sichere und funktionierende Verschlüsselung sind doch eigentlich Grund- und Kernfunktion eines Cloudspeichers. Und das bekommt <a href="https://friendica.xyz/search?tag=Nextcloud" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Nextcloud</a> nicht zuverlässig hin. Ein gutes Beispiel dafür ist auch dieser völlig unnötige Bug in der Android App vor ein paar Monaten der dafür gesorgt hat, das eine Synchronisierungsschleife so lange lief bis das Onlinevolumen aufgebraucht war.Ich muss jetzt auf jeden Fall mal schauen, ob es irgendeine Möglichkeit im Kommandozeilen Tool gibt dieses Verschlüsselungs Problem zu lösen. Hank G ☑️Jon Ossoff campaign sent out a campaign text message saying why he was voting against the CR, the problems with it etc. I said I'd donate when the tally confirmed that. He voted "No". So I just gave his campaign some money. The eight Democrats who voted for it, the entire Senate Democratic leadership, and the national Democratic Party leadership who sat on their hands on the other hand can go pound sand. I'll be giving my time and money to throw them out of office and replace them with people that have backbone, courage, and fight in them. I've had enough of these "Do Nothing Democrats" when there are plenty of people across the political spectrum who actually want the job. Wie mich das nervt. Der Hashtag Garten ist eigtl ein total schöner zum Folgen für Infos zum Gärtnern, Pflanzen- und Gemüseanbau und dergleichen. Zusammen mit dem englischen Hashtag Gardening ist das immer so meine Social Media Wohlfühlblase, wenn mir die Welt zu verrückt vorkommt. Wenn da nicht Leute wären, die unter den Hashtags Blödsinn posten, wie Blumengemälde, Vasen, Fotos von irgendwelchen Naturpanoramen oder auch ganz abwegiges wie grade ein politisches Posting. Grrr. Mittlerweile guck ich mir diese Profile an und dann wird geblockt. Können die Leute nicht einfach Hashtags posten, die sinnvoll zu ihrem Kram passen und nicht welche nutzen, die ganz anderen Kontext haben? Ich. Bin. Genervt. Davon. Sorry, aber das musste mal grade sein. 🤷‍♀️😕
