Like Cornu aspersum, the species is popular as a <a href="https://biologists.social/tags/delicacy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>delicacy</span></a> in Europe, but is rarely bred and is instead taken from the field. Author I.
