Ich experimentiere gerade in kleinen Schritten: #PayPal ist gekündigt, stattdessen mache ich #Vorkasse, auf #Rechnung oder notfalls #Kreditkarte. Im „richtigen“ Leben statt Kreditkarte die #Girokarte. Leider erscheinen bei letzterer die Buchungen nicht immer sofort in der App, da verliert man den Überblick oder man müsste wieder Zettelchen sammeln

Ich sehe das zwar nur ähnlich und nicht ganz genauso, aber ich hab auch einen anderen Blickwinkel und viel weniger Ahnung.

Habe heute mal versucht #wero über die #sparkasse #dortmund auszuprobieren. Schreckliche UX. Mehrere TAN-Abfragen ohne Erklärung und Anzeige des Startcodes, tanOptisch praktisch kaputt und kaum zu gebrauchen und am Ende hat die Registrierung nicht einmal funktioniert. Wir brauchen dringend sinnvolle und vor allem benutzbare und sichere Alternativen. Wero ist das bisher nicht.
Wenn ihr weniger US-Produkte nutzen wollt, fangt doch bei den Finanzen an.
#Wero ist eine super Alternative! Bei #Sparkassen und #Volksbanken bereits aktiv und weitere Banken folgen. Incl. europaweitem Ausbau.

Wenn #Wero nicht eigenständig und unabhängig von Banken umgesetzt wird, ist das eine Totgeburt mit Ansage. Das wird dann in fünf Jahren abgeschaltet.
@nico198X @aral @robin Problem with #PayPal et. al. is that there ain't real & global competitiors.
And not only is it impractical for people to travel in person to i.e. Germany just to wait weeks (!!!) on an appointment and get a bank accout opened in person but even then the Bsic Account as per @BaFin regulations only applies to consumers in Germany and not SMEs from overseas and even then those business accounts are usually way more expensive than partnering with an expensive payment processor to outsorce headaches.
Needless to say the #PayPalMafia got their power to basically monopolize global payments...

Vielleicht ist das genau das Problem, für das "normale" Banking braucht man die nicht, für #wero offensichtlich schon. Aus meiner Sicht unnötig kompliziert, das können andere besser. Mag ja sein, dass das so sicherer ist...
Ich wollte gerade #wero aktivieren - warum um alles in der Welt machen wir es uns in Europa eigentlich immer so schwer? Aktivierungscode per Post? Ernsthaft?
