Had a lovely morning ride yesterday before all the hullabaloo. The harbor was quiet except for an osprey on its favorite mast and a common loon that was preening. Out at Pillar Point, the surf was a tad quieter than recent days but put up a good effort against Sail Rock.

Speaking of rocks, found one there that had boring clams in it, as well as some bryozoans. I don’t think I’d ever noticed those before. Thanks to @dantheclamman for the ID.

While the cars crawl, the Tern GSD flies. No need for traffic updates when the only delay is another bike in the lane. School pickup just got a serious upgrade.
