The bodies of three American soldiers who went missing on March 25 during military exercises were found at a training ground in Pabradė, Lithuania.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda announced that the three missing American soldiers were found dead, while the search for a fourth soldier is still ongoing.

Earlier on Monday, an armored Hercules vehicle, which the U.S. soldiers had been traveling in, was pulled from a swamp.

After a six-day search, authorities in Lithuania on Monday recovered a US military vehicle that sank deep into a swamp during a training exercise.

It was taking part in a tactical training at a large training area in the eastern Lithuanian town of Pabrade, just 10 kilometers west of the border with Belarus.

The fate of four missing US soldiers remains unknown.
