Sans-culottes :molotov:Man, dating is just so much different and toxic now. I feel like social media has really done a number on people. Between purposefully weeding out right wingers, you also weed out galactic brain liberals and centrists who feel everyone should have a platform. So you are left with a very small subsection of a dating pool, then you add in having a kid in the mix, and it is even smaller. Then you have to basically weed out the people in active crisis who think their behavior isn't harmful, and then you are basically left with people who want to date but not really. Honestly, the mix of ghosting, people not being honest about what they are looking for, or just being a bit unhinged it is a wild world out there. I'm sure there are decent people out there, but it hardly seems worth the effort at times. I feel like too many are working an angle or looking to just check a box in their lives.
