I finally completed my first version of a #diceware word list. This one is all words found in works by #Shakespeare. Took me about three months to create.
Guess only #nerds will like this.

I've found a solution to fix/change a path to a *Storage Location* in #ArqBackup … well … "solution" for #developer or #nerds that is 
So, if your Synology suddenly is available with "name.location" or now without ".location"-suffix, how to change that?
/Library/Application Support/ArqAgent/server.db - copy to writable folder and make it writable. Open with SQLite browser. Change "json" in "storage_location"-Table. Copy Back. Force-Stop "ArqMonitor" and "ArqAgent". Done

Summer is near, says my #synthesizer.
The overheating problem of my #Roland #JDXA is back. I put in a miniature amateur heat sink and later even a fan. Doesn't help 100%. When it overheats, da AD section between the analog synth parts and the FX go crazy, producing 0dBFS noise.
I really don't know what to do now, except for replacing the digital board… which might be an expensive thing to do. And even worse, it won't be a sustainable fix, because the new board will be broken by design the very same way. Unfortunately, the JD-XA has become my work horse for a specific music project I play in – live.
Photo shows a “heat sink” to some kind of power supply / voltage regulator chip that does weird stuff when too hot and then the 4ch AD chip goes mad.
Would do #fedihelp #electronics #nerds think? Is there a non-SMD-replacement to that regulator that I could fit in and mount it somewhere else, perhaps on piece of metal?

And #nerds like myself are far from the "#consoomer #Normies" for whom stuff that isn't on shelves at Staturn/MediaMarkt, BestBuy, Walmart, ... doesn't exist. I'm used to importing #tech that I want!

After a lot of tinkering, we finally made it to the latest release of the #nginx ingress controller on the https://mstdn.dk cluster. The latest release addresses no less than FOUR #CVE records. Critical configuration areas had changed, the GeoIP database had to be cached to avoid rate limiting and the #LUA engine needed some tweaks before it could handle the relative large number of TLS certificates we're using in the cluster, but we finally made it. Sorry about the hick-ups. We're trying to keep expenses from going through the roof, so we've skipped the test setup in favor of gently tweaking things in production. Usually that goes well, but there is the rare exception.
Somewhat related, the #KubeCon / #KubeConEU #Kubernetes conference is next week, which means I'll be in #London for the first time for an entire week. Any suggestions for things worth visiting for a bunch of #nerds? :D
