I lied. I never have used Arch. Settled on Fedora for Computer the Elder, which'll run Tor & BOINC 100%. Good to distrohop occasionally. Sticking with Mint on main.
@dangillmor This little kerfuffle finally pushed me to #mintlinux yesterday. No Windows on my Intel machine anymore.
(I really switched from #MintLinux to #ArchLinux because the former didn't have a emblem for bpytop to display

Had the brainstorm that the issue with Bluetooth being AWOL had nothing to do with the hardware, but having switched back to #MintLinux from #Debian. Stranger things have happened.
Be that as it may, the original SSD is currently being overwritten with gibberish prior to Debian reinstallation.
And Mint is up and running, if not singing. 
Still can’t get #ArchLinux to boot from a flash drive. Hmm ... I’d just be bedeviling myself, too...! Anyway, #MintLinux is fine.

I should clarify that I’d reinstalled #MintLinux on Blue 1T (secondary PC, which remains stubbornly off) and Black 1T (primary), which died running #Debian. Surprisingly Black 1T booted, the technician notwithstanding.
It lives...!
Reinstalled #MintLinux “Vera” from DVD, so #Debian (and any #ArchLinux adventures) are on hold for the duration.
#Debian 12 and #MintLinux are humming along nicely.

I picked up an old laptop a few weeks ago with a corrupt Windows install on it. I've decided to try Linux again.
#today I downloaded the @linuxmint ISO and ran through the verify process. I went off to burn the DVD, then I remembered my desktop has no DVD burner 
I've just brought a burner from ebay for £5.99. Hopefully getting it by Tuesday.
