LEGO enthusiasts celebrate interesting architecture by building replicas of Canada’s national museums in the National Capital Region or Ottawa-Gatineau.
The region has an active and longstanding LEGO community but this seems to be the beginning of a trend.
For the Museum of History in Gatineau, Indigenous Architect Douglas Cardinal shared his own plans with the LEGO builder.
Another pair of builders created a 3D video to inform their construction of a model of the Victorian-era Museum of Nature (which had a rumoured haunted 4th floor).

Saw this posted on Reddit. Loved the model but it was dark thanks to being taken with a bright window in the b/g. Gave it to ChatGPT (an app which “does everything” - I know we should all dislike that sort of thing but hey), brightened it up a bit, straightened and upscaled it with UpRes.
Someone took #Lego 76968 and embellished it with flowers from a botanicals set. I freaking LOVE it.
