This is #Selfoss, where the Jökulsá á Fjöllum prepares for the majestic 45-meter plunge of #Dettifoss.
This Image is a bit of a desaster.But it is the only one I have of #Dettifoss though.And I love it.
The mother of all (european) waterfalls.The gout is so immens that you get soaking wet even on the highest point above the waterfall which is a little platform in approx. 100m distance from the waterfall.
Like many waterfalls in iceland Dettifoss leaves you stunning. But this one is pure evil.
