And I wanted an excuse to try out Ovation Pro anyways.It was one of those things I gatekept myself from doing on RPCEmu as I wanted to do it on real hardware... Now I have gotten on my Acorn up and running - I could finally allow myself to use Ovation Pro, and what better subject to base this article on then the Acorn itself? /rh I'm not going to say it's perfect or professional (because it's not); but I'm happy enough on how it came out after 2ish hours of work (might even export it as PDF someday), and even more so that I figured out the DTP program without touch it's manual... And Camelot itself would be nothing without the very backbone of the idea, PostScript, which started all the way back in 1985, and kickstarted the desktop publishing software revolution.Back in those days, cross-platform compatibility was a nightmare, which led Dr. John Warnock, co-founder of Adobe, to initiate that project. Most of my free time is taken up by being the personal gentleman of Ruckus Q. I've recently transitioned from a field-heavy position to one that is primarily office based. As of spring 2022, my position is that of archaeological technologist (aka technomancer). I'm basically a data-wrangler who shepherds archaeological data from the early planning, desktop, phase, through fieldwork, labwork, analysis, and finally to curation.
