I wanted to give @penpot a serious try today but it chugs a bit on my MacBook Pro that runs both Sketch and Figma as smooth as butter.
I did a quick search and according to Reddit it's due to using SVG rendering instead of a custom engine like Figma does.
Edit: Seems to run best in a Chromium based browser like Vivaldi. I might update with more impressions later.
I tried out the pre-release of FreeCAD 1.0, and it’s looking impressive! I tested it using a pre-existing 3D model, so I didn’t create anything from scratch, but it felt very smooth and responsive. It’s exciting to see the progress made by the community—watching this application grow over the years has been incredible. Kudos to everyone contributing to this open-source tool!

Although my first computer (1989) was a Commodore C-64, I only started seriously with the Amiga 500 and with "Deluxe Paint IV" and the "Commodore CD-32". That was in 1991, 32 years ago... Oh my God.
