In früheren Jahrhunderten hat es ohne Autos und technische Hilfsmittel wie Telefone, Computer oder Smartphones manchmal mehrere Tage oder sogar Wochen gedauert, bis eine Nachricht angekommen ist – im Kriegsfall durchaus ein Problem. Bei feindlichen Angriffen mussten die umliegenden Städte und Dörfer so schnell wie möglich gewarnt werden, weshalb schon die Römer die sogenannten Lärmfeuer in der Provincia Germania als Signalmethode nutzten... Meine Meinung: So ein gut gemachtes Lärmfeuer ist schon ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis. Generell gibt es im Odenwald und Kleinen Odenwald einiges an Brauchtum mit Feuer. Wenn man so was mag kann ich es nur empfehlen.
