Marc<p>One of the rabbit holes I stumbled into earlier this year was <a href="https://mastodon.xyz/tags/Malpertuis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Malpertuis</span></a>, a book by Jean Ray. There is also a movie (filmed in Ghent, Belgium) which was really hard to find. I found a DVD, but it was in French without subtitles and many scenes were cut. Then I found a Dutch version with English subtitles via a Russian search engine. Today I found the holy grail! Marc<p>Sometimes it feels like I'm screaming into the void: "Take my money, all I want is a copy of an obscure 70s <a href="https://stackpointer.ws/tags/movie" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>movie</span></a>!", but nobody answers and then I find a used DVD for a much too high price, but I pay it (plus postage) and when I get it, I find out that the DVD does not contain an audio track in a language I understand or any subtitles, even though the cover states otherwise. And then I just download it from a Russian website which does not care about copyright and I feel sad.😞 <a href="https://stackpointer.ws/tags/Malpertuis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Malpertuis</span></a></p>
