I just wrote down the title, technique, progression, melody, and "outline of an outline" for the second of two long ballads on my next record.
As much as I'm enjoying wrapping up "I'll Be Right Here, Too" I'll be glad when I can focus on turning my notes into new songs again.

I've been listening to Spiers & Boden's album "Fallow Ground" recently. The first track is a great version of the Australian folk song "Bluey Brink". Jon Boden added the following note about the song:
