The #data team I lead for the #Australian Plant Phenomics Network (https://plantphenomics.org/) is seeking two additional #Python #developers as part of our efforts to build end-to-end pipelines for #FAIR #research data.

One will focus on interfaces between our nodes and #S3 #repository storage at #Pawsey and #NCI.

The other will build tools to help nodes package complex data using RO-Crate.

The preferred location is Adelaide.

We’ve all been there, the world is shit, the system sucks, and you want to do something but you don’t know what and where to begin.

Good news: there are alternatives and networks and you can joint them to make a difference.
Starting new things can be terrifying and the stereotype of the scary anarchist does not help, but anarchism is getting the power back that capitalism and the system took away from you. We are anarchists: we organize horizontally, take care of each other and the community, organize our own spaces. We don’t wait to be saved by a state or a leader, we save eachother and ourselves. We are already creating the society we crave so badly, we are already creating spaces where this freedom can be found.

"Anarchy is a form of living together in society; a society in which people live as brothers and sisters without being able to oppress or exploit others and in which everyone has at their disposal whatever means the civilisation of the time can supply in order for them to attain the greatest possible moral and material development. So  join us on Thursday the 10th of April for our next edition of the Anarchist Fair- (it’s like a job fair but you wont get paid). Attending will be a number of collectives, from mutal aid to an independent printing press, street medics, AG and other collectives. Come by and recruit yourself for your first (or next!) step into self organization.

We also have zines, stickers, posters and other general information on how to start your journey towards activism and anarchism.
