This location was built as a museum, so it's not a real coal mine.<br>
It has fake mining tunnels with simulators (including heat) and many machines.<br>
It also has a winding tower, that was transported from a former coal mine to the museum location. Sadly the winding tower was under construction last year, so I was not able to visit it to show some views over the ruhr area from this location (I have some 20 year old ones from a previous visit, but not gonna show that ones today.)<br>

Even if the mining tunnels are fake, this place is really worth a visit to see the different forms of coal mining over the years and learn everything about coal mining in the ruhr area.<br>
