I might – just possibly – call any green soup in Portugal "Caldo Verde". ;) You're probably right. It doesn't seem to be the real deal. Actually I didn't ask what the "soup of the day" actually is. Thanks for pointing it out!
@lusofest from the looks of it I would guess that it was a veggie soup (Sopa de Legumes), still good though

You're absolutely right. I should have known better. There were neither "coves" in it, nor "chouriço" (which I'm not missing too much). I think it is fair to say, the post qualified as very amateurish food porn. ;)
